Responsibilities

Are you an experienced and passionate beauty therapy professional looking to inspire the next generation of beauty therapists? Brighton MET College is seeking a Lecturer in Beauty Therapy to join our vibrant and professional Hair and Beauty team and help shape our students’ future careers in this exciting industry.

In this role you’ll undertake teaching and assessing activities ensuring a high quality of provision. You will also work collaboratively and innovatively with managers and colleagues to design, develop and review programmes in the curriculum area. You will also ensure that student needs are met in a responsive way in line with the concept of inclusive learning.

Qualifications

You should hold a level 4 in Beauty Therapy including laser & IPL along with Level 2 qualifications in literacy and numeracy. You will also hold a teaching and assessing qualification or be willing to work towards these qualifications within 2 years.

Working Pattern

Variable hours. Thursdays TBC – 9-5 pm.
