Overview

Creative Support is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced individual to join as Support Worker and lead a passionate and friendly team of staff to support individuals with learning disabilities. The role involves providing high quality, respectful, and person‑centred care and support to individuals in Leicestershire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent person‑centred care and support to tenants.
  • Assist and develop everyday living skills and participate in a wide range of activities.
  • Encourage tenants to live socially inclusive lives.
  • Build a trusting and friendly rapport with all service users.
  • Work within positive behaviour support guidelines and local and corporate policies.
  • Work flexible shifts, including evening, weekends and sleep‑ins.

Qualifications

  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude with superb communication skills.
  • Ability to work within positive behaviour support guidelines.
  • Experience or strong motivation to support individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Flexibility to work required shift patterns.

Training and Development

Full training is provided. Opportunity to work towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care and to complete the nationally recognised Care Certificate and Social Care Diploma.
