The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for a Sales Representative to drive growth in our clients logistics and warehousing services. This is a “Hunter” role designed for an outgoing individual who excels at active client acquisition, networking, and turning local business opportunities into long‑term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Local Market Development: Proactively identify, target, and acquire new clients requiring warehousing and logistics solutions in the UK.
- Lead Generation & Outreach: Build a robust sales pipeline through professional cold calling, networking, and face‑to‑face client visits.
- Solution Pitching: Understand client’s supply chain and storage needs, presenting the warehousing and last‑mile delivery services effectively.
- Deal Closure: Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact and pricing discussions to contract signing.
Requirements
- Sales Experience: Proven track record in sales, client acquisition, or business development. Prior experience in the UK local logistics/warehousing market is a strong advantage.
- Communication: Exceptional oral communication and negotiation skills with a confident and persuasive telephone manner.
- Market Hunter Mentality: Self‑motivated by targets, resourceful, and capable of working independently to develop the local market.
- Mobility: Full UK driving license is required for client site visits and field activities.
- Work Eligibility: Valid, long‑term right to work in the UK.
