Driver Hire Reading are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HIAB Drivers ahead of major upcoming work with leading builders’ merchants across the local area.
We are building a pool of reliable HIAB drivers ready to start as soon as work becomes available. This is an excellent opportunity to secure regular, well-paid work with respected national clients.
The Role
You will be delivering building materials to construction sites and residential addresses using HIAB lorries fitted with brick grab and remote.
Typical duties include:
Delivering building materials safely to site and customer locations
Operating HIAB (brick grab & remote) to offload goods
Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
Providing a professional, customer-focused service
Working safely in line with site and transport regulations
Requirements
Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
ALLMI HIAB certification (Brick Grab & Remote essential)
Valid CPC & Digital Tacho Card
Previous HIAB experience preferred
Good knowledge of local area and site deliveries
Professional, reliable and safety-conscious
