Salary and Benefits
Pay rate during training: £18.21 per hour. Annual earnings after training: £37,000 (based on an average of 39 hours per week). Competitive hourly rates, opportunities for overtime, CPC renewal costs covered, pension, 20 days holiday (rising to 25 days after five years of service), eight bank holidays, free travel for you and a companion, and a wide range of discounts.
Responsibilities
- Drive the fleet of diesel buses safely, smoothly, and confidently.
- Ensure every passenger has a pleasant journey.
- Deliver top‑notch customer service, providing a warm welcome, answering questions, and supporting those who rely on us most.
- Create a welcoming environment where customers feel respected and cared for.
- Work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Shift pattern is permanent late shifts.
Requirements
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Hold a PCV licence (training provided).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Patient, safe, and courteous driving approach.
- Positive, friendly attitude and passion for delivering great customer service.
- Willingness to learn and be part of a brilliant team.
