Salary: £31,493 to £34,495 (Inclusive of sleep in’s)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children and young people.
  • Deliver therapeutic care tailored to each child’s individual needs.
  • Act as a positive role model, supporting children with their daily living activities.
  • Organise and participate in fun activities such as theme parks, fishing, football, and hiking.
  • Offer emotional and physical support to help children reach their full potential, even in challenging situations.
  • Build trusting relationships and foster friendships with the children.
  • Empower children to make decisions about their lives and encourage independence.
  • Support children in developing life skills and confidence through everyday tasks.

Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
  • Passion for caring for children and young people with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible shift patterns, including 7 on 7 off, with alternative shifts available.
  • Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
