Support Coordinator (Maternity Cover)
Salary £27,500 per year / Earn £14.06 per hour plus 34 days leave (rising to 39) and health cash plan worth over £1140.
Temporary maternity cover (Starting mid‑May 2026 – 6 months contract), full time (37.5 hpw), working primarily in the Kidderminster area of Worcestershire services. We can’t offer a CoS for this role.
Responsibilities
- Lead support planning and coordinate our Support Workers to deliver person‑centred support.
- Balance support, safeguarding, admin and meetings while guiding colleagues and managing caseloads.
- Support customers with daily tasks such as budgeting, cooking and attending appointments.
- Work with multi‑agency teams to safeguard and empower customers.
- Help customers build independence and prepare for their move‑on into the community.
Qualifications
- Passion and experience in supporting others, ideally in a supported housing setting.
- Level 3 Diploma in Care or equivalent experience (or willingness to work towards it).
- Experience assessing referrals and coordinating support.
- Ability to work under your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and be resilient.
- Experience in creating support plans and risk assessments.
Practical Details
- Working shifts in the Kidderminster 24hr service and Worcester; primarily in Kidderminster 24hr service.
- Variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends; often 12‑hour shifts to condense hours into fewer days.
- Position requires an Enhanced with Barring List (provided).
