About the role
Working collaboratively with public and private sector partners, you will support the Senior Manager and Head of Project Delivery to progress opportunities for site and infrastructure acceleration, including funding (equity, grant and loan), acquisitions and partnering (including CPO). You will act as an interface with existing Homes England programmes and teams, support the team to create, unlock, accelerate, and develop a pipeline of future activity in line with growth plans, and drive forward the Government’s ambitious vision for Cambridge.
About you
The successful candidate will ideally have post‑qualification skills and experience in technical and commercial acumen, knowledge of mixed‑use development, and experience of working on large and complex sites to support the Cambridge ambition and accelerate delivery of major projects. Familiarity with the business case process and experience working with departments on major strategic projects will also be valued.
The role also requires an understanding of sustainable place‑making, planning and relevant Government policies and priorities, and experience of translating policy into operational delivery.
The successful candidate will be a team player, able to work in a fast‑paced, changing environment, and willing to support work across the wider team.
