Delivery Manager

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to be a force multiplier for our product teams. You won’t just enable events; you will orchestrate the team’s execution plan, guard its health, and partner in our journey to a world‑class, product‑led organization.

Your Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, resolve, and elevate impediments—from daily blockers to systemic issues spanning multiple teams.
  • Manage dependencies and alignment across teams to prevent delays and ensure clear communication.
  • Coach teams on realistic forecasting and transparent progress communication.
  • Streamline the path to production, improving deployment frequency and ensuring smooth releases.
  • Cultivate a culture of trust, collaboration, and psychological safety where problems can be raised and solved without fear of blame.
  • Coach teams on self‑organisation, effective collaboration, and conflict resolution, fostering mature Agile ways of working.
  • Champion continuous improvement using metrics, retrospectives, and action items.
  • Act as a key coach and partner to Technical Service Owners, bridging strategic discovery and tactical delivery.
  • Influence and align stakeholders, providing transparency into the team’s progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Contribute to and help build our Delivery Management community of practice, sharing knowledge and standardising best practices across Elanco.

Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience: Proven success in a delivery‑focused role (e.g., Delivery Manager, Project Manager, Agile Coach) within a large, cross‑functional organization.
  • Transformation Champion: Experience navigating and supporting large‑scale organizational change, such as an agile or product model transformation.
  • Deep Expertise: A deep, practical understanding of Agile and Lean principles, with the ability to adapt frameworks like Scrum and Kanban to fit the team’s context.
  • A Strategic Mindset: The ability to see beyond the team level to identify systemic bottlenecks and opportunities for broader organizational improvement.
  • A Coaching Heart: A genuine passion for coaching individuals and teams, comfortable across all levels, and able to partner with leadership to foster growth.
  • Exceptional Facilitation Skills: You are an expert facilitator who can guide teams through complex conversations, planning sessions, and conflict resolution with ease.
  • Data‑Driven Approach: You use metrics as a tool to help teams understand their performance and drive meaningful improvements.

Experience: Experience and/or understanding of the products that Workplace delivers to customers. These include, but are not limited to: General Microsoft 365 applications such as SharePoint, Exchange Online, and OneDrive; MS collaboration tools such as Teams and Loop; MS Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, Virtual Agent, Dynamics); SMTP and application email services; Workplace services including client and productivity data security applications and tools; Telephony services and contact centre applications.

Experience working in a regulated, multi‑agency, or international environment. Formal certifications (e.g., CSM, PSMII, SAFe, SPS, PRINCE2/PRINCE2 Agile) are valued but secondary to real‑world experience.

Travel: 0‑10% Location: Hook, UK – Hybrid Work Environment
