Dispatch Operatives

Thrive Oldham are recruiting Production Dispatch Operatives in the Oldham Area on behalf of our well established client

Job Description

• Assisting the dispatch supervisor in the day-to-day role of ensuring products are shipped to the customers
• Assisting the stores team leader where required to manage stock and spares requirements
• Managing product flows across the shopfloor to ensure that orders are being completed as scheduled
• Support the assistant production manager during busy periods and holiday cover.
• Support the dispatch supervisor during busy periods and holiday cover
• Ensure that the shopfloor is being kept tidy and organised
• Working with the dispatch supervisor to develop processes to complete the production schedule in a timely manner whilst assisting and supporting the dispatch and stores team leaders in their day-to-day tasks.

Essential Requirements

• Experience of working in a busy production warehouse/environment
• Experience with a quality check of electrical items
• Knowledge of electromechanical products
• Confident and flexible nature in dealing with issues that arise.
• Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
• Good concentration with good eyes for details
• PC Literate, experience of utilising Microsoft Office packages.
• Immediate start after successful interview
• Monday to Thursday 7am – 4pm
• Friday 7am – 12pm
• £12.71 per hour /temporary ongoing
