The Opportunity
We’re looking for a People Operations Coordinator who is passionate about creating exceptional employee experiences, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and enjoys leading by example. You’ll support key operational HR responsibilities, ensuring that the People team’s operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role is perfect for someone who’s looking to pursue a career in HR, and who’s enthusiastic about delivering outstanding employee experience.
This is a full‑time, permanent position. Our office is in Central London, though you’ll have a hybrid working arrangement (two days per week on site).
What you’ll be doing
- Support the People team with onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes to ensure a smooth employee experience.
- Provide day‑to‑day support to employees, helping to answer questions and resolve queries in a timely and supportive way.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve the employee experience and contribute ideas to enhance engagement and satisfaction.
- Support the administration and maintenance of our HRIS, helping ensure employee data is accurate and up to date.
- Assist with reporting and data preparation to support People team insights and decision‑making.
- Work with the People team to help improve and streamline HR processes as the organisation continues to grow.
- Develop a solid understanding of company policies and support employees in finding relevant guidance or escalating queries where appropriate.
- Assist with the review and maintenance of policies and internal documentation to ensure information remains accurate and up to date.
- Work closely with the wider People Operations team to ensure consistent communication and smooth day‑to‑day operations across the team.
- Support quality checks of People team processes and documentation to help maintain a high standard of delivery.
Who you are
- 0–2 years of HR experience, HR internship, or relevant administrative experience (exposure to HR systems such as BambooHR, HiBob, Oracle, Workday, or similar is a plus).
- A basic understanding of HR processes and an interest in learning more about HR policies and best practices.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- A proactive and solutions‑focused mindset, with a willingness to suggest improvements to processes and ways of working.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across the organisation.
- Exceptional attention to detail when handling data, documentation, and internal processes.
- A genuine interest in supporting employees and contributing to a positive employee experience.
- A collaborative team player who is eager to learn and grow within a People team.
