Class 1 Night Driver

Overview

The Best Connection – Oldham require 2 x Class 1 Night Drivers to work on an ongoing basis for our client based in the Middleton Area #HGV #CE

This is delivery of caged products from the depot to Client locations.

Some jobs will require you to operate a tail lift.

Start times will vary from 14:00.

First couple of weeks training but will fall into a regular shift pattern thereafter: Weekend work is available during Peak Times

Rates

• Nights – £17.00
• Min 9 hours guaranteed.
• Saturday – £24.00
• Sunday and B/Hols – £32.00

Specific Job Requirements

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence (due to insurance purposes no DR’s, IN’s and must be aged 25yrs or older)
• Digital Tachograph card (UK Issued)
• Driver’s CPC
• Excellent knowledge of driver’s working time regulations, and a good understanding of the motorway network
• Comfortable with cages
• Flexible attitude to working hours.
• Reliability and excellent timekeeping is essential for success
• Immediate starts for the right candidate.
• 2 years checkable work history
• Reliability is key to success.
