Customer Team Member – Home Delivery Driver

Location: Woodpark Road, Portree, Isle of Skye, Scotland, IV51 9HQPay: £13.04 per hourContract: 39 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, full timeWorking pattern: shifts from 8am to 8pm, including weekends. Availability may be discussed at interviewFull, paid training provided

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customers’ orders and deliver them to doorsteps, representing Co‑op as a safe and considerate driver.
• Ensure the delivery vehicle is safe and compliant, conducting daily checks to keep it in good working order.
• Assist in the store when not on the road: serving customers at the till, restocking shelves, and helping colleagues solve problems.
• Introduce new ways of working, sharing experiences to support change and learning among colleagues.
• Participate in community activities and events to support the local community.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for at least 3 years and with no more than 6 points.
• Genuine concern for the needs of customers and colleagues.
• Great people skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
• A positive approach to change and problem solving.
• The flexibility to work a range of different shifts.
