Job Description The successful candidate will work closely with the client, engineering teams, and contractors to plan and deliver biannual shutdowns, manage documentation and assurance reporting, and supervise teams in line with ISS policies, procedures, and QHSE standards. Key Responsibilities Plan and organise PPM shutdown periods for containment buildings using the FM CAFM system Liaise with the client to confirm maintenance windows and compliance requirements Coordinate PPM, reactive, remedial, and project works into structured shutdown plans Supervise and manage shutdown teams and contractors in line with ISS policies Chair stakeholder and client meetings from 90 days pre-shutdown through to completion Ensure full statutory, H&S, COSHH, and operational compliance in line with contract KPIs Quality-assure contractor reports and compile documentation for HSE audit assurance Maintain accurate records, reports, diaries, and data within CAFM systems and spreadsheets Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Skills and Experience Proven experience managing contractors within an FM or engineering environment Background in HVAC, mechanical, or electrical PPMs and planned works Experience working with BMS systems (highly beneficial) Good understanding of M&E plant within containment or safety-critical environments Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills Ability to extract technical information from documents and produce clear reports Qualifications Required City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline 18th Edition Wiring Regulations GCSE standard education with at least 4 Grade C passes or above, or NVQ qualification in Business Administration, Customer Service, ICT, or equivalent The Company ISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
