Responsibilities
- Work to appropriate procedures to ensure the safety of all persons on site.
- Provide a friendly information service to visitors about places to walk, cycle and other activities.
- Display shop items and maintain stock to maximise income.
- Daily reconciliation of income with till receipts.
- Engage with visitors as an ambassador of Welsh Water.
- Serve food and beverages to customers.
- Ensuring tables are clean and available for customers to use.
- General cleaning duties with the kitchen and storage areas.
Qualifications
- Customer experience
- Practical Health & Safety experience
- Retail customer service knowledge or specialism
- Working with the general public
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Commercial awareness
- Numeracy / till operating skills
Key Requirements
- Starting ASAP
- A satisfactory DBS check will be required prior to start date for all successful applicants.
- Variety of shift patterns available; candidates must be flexible to work weekdays and weekends.
- Due to the nature of the industry, satisfactory references, post‑offer medical clearance, and a criminal records Basic Disclosure check are required for all new employees joining the business.
