Kitchen Porter

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our team at CPK. The Kitchen Porter plays a key role in maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and smooth operation of the kitchen. This is a fast-paced environment, so you must be able to work efficiently under pressure and support the chefs when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen
• Wash and clean all dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and storage areas
• Ensure all kitchen areas (floors, walls, bins, sinks) are kept clean and organised at all times
• Dispose of waste correctly and follow recycling procedures
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required (e.g. washing vegetables, peeling, portioning)
• Receive and store deliveries properly, ensuring stock is organised (FIFO method)
• Keep dishwashing area clean, tidy, and fully stocked with chemicals
• Support the team during busy service periods
• Follow all food safety and health & safety regulations
