We’re on the lookout for a dynamic and engaging Sessional Skills Tutor to deliver our Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification to enthusiastic learners aged 19+ who are eager to embark on a rewarding career in schools. You’ll equip them with the essential skills and understanding to thrive in a classroom environment, bringing the curriculum to life through an engaging teaching style and drawing on your own experiences and insights to make learning practical and inspiring.
St Helens Adult and Community Learning team (part of St Helens Borough Council) offers a range of free learning opportunities to eligible residents aged 19+.
What will you bring to the role?
- Expertise: A deep understanding of the Level 2 CACHE Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification (or its equivalent) and its practical application in schools.
- Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Engagement: The ability to create dynamic and interactive sessions that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with learners and support their progress.
