Role
Apprentice Service Engineer – Fire and Security. This is a field based role covering Oxfordshire and surrounding areas, with possible support in Southeast and Southwest.
Responsibilities
- Service, commission, and maintain fire and security systems (fire detection, intrusion detection, CCTV, access control).
- Work at client sites, performing servicing and repairs of fire and security equipment.
- Travel to residential, commercial and retail locations and work in varying conditions.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team and gain skills toward becoming a qualified fire and security engineer.
Qualifications
- GCSE in English and Maths, Grade 5 (C) or above.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions.
- Good physical health; job may be labour intensive.
- Willing to travel, work away and stay over in hotels when needed.
- Team spirit, good communication and love for technology and engineering.
Training
Level 3 Fire Emergency & Security Systems Technician at Banham Academy (mixed college learning and on‑site mentoring).
