As part of this growth, they’re looking to appoint a Management Accountant to play a key role in delivering accurate financial insight and supporting commercial decision-making across the business.
The opportunity
This is a high-impact role within a complex, product-led environment. You’ll sit at the heart of finance, working closely with commercial and operational teams to drive performance, improve visibility and support strategic decision-making.
It’s ideal for someone who enjoys a hands‑on role with real breadth combining reporting, analysis, business partnering and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and clear commentary
- Monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights to improve performance
- Support VAT and statutory reporting requirements
- Analyse margins, costs and profitability across product lines
- Partner with commercial teams on pricing and financial performance
- Manage inventory accounting and support stock optimisation
- Work closely with operations and supply chain to improve working capital
- Support audits, controls and ensure compliance with financial policies
- Contribute to ongoing finance and business improvement projects
Requirements
- Fully qualified (CIMA / ACCA)
- Experience within a product-led environment (e.g. retail, manufacturing, distribution)
- Strong background in management accounting, reporting and analysis
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP or similar)
- Experience with ERP systems and BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
- Confident working in a fast‑paced, multi‑entity or multi‑currency environment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to communicate clearly to stakeholders
- Organised, adaptable and comfortable managing multiple priorities
