What is required from you?
- A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
- Bank Care Assistant, for this role you are required to have the flexibility to work day shifts, nights shifts and alternative weekends as and when required
- For this role you are required to have experience working within a care home
A day in the life of a Care Assistant
- Companionship – Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
- Personal care – supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care
- Medication – Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams
- Meals – Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages
- Domestic tasks – light cleaning tasks
- Mobility – Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility
- Social activities – Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home
