Senior Structural Engineer
Location: Chichester, West Sussex
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Archibald Shaw is a long-established civil and structural engineering consultancy with over 60 years of experience. We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing team and lead the delivery of high-quality structural engineering projects across a wide range of sectors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading structural design from concept to completion
- Producing and reviewing calculations, drawings, and reports
- Coordinating with clients, architects, and contractors
- Mentoring junior engineers and supporting team development
About you:
- Chartered or close to Chartered (IStructE or equivalent)
- 8+ years’ consultancy experience
- Confident communicator with strong technical and leadership skills
- Strong design capability in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
- Good knowledge of UK standards and regulations
