Job Description

People Dynamix Education are seeking a reliable and organised Science Technician to support the science department within a secondary school in the Wirral area.

This role involves preparing practical science experiments, maintaining laboratory equipment, and supporting teachers in delivering engaging science lessons.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing materials and equipment for science lessons
• Supporting practical experiments across KS3 and KS4
• Maintaining laboratory equipment and workspaces
• Managing science stock and ordering supplies
• Ensuring all laboratory health and safety procedures are followed

Requirements

• Previous Science Technician or laboratory experience
• Strong attention to detail and organisation
• Ability to support teachers and students during practical sessions
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
