Warm Earth Community Engagement Officer

Location: Winson Green, Birmingham (B18 4LP)
Hours: 20 hours per week (including some evenings and weekends, with flexibility required)
Salary: £18 per hour
Contract: Fixed-term for 8 months, with the possibility of extension for up to 3 years subject to continued funding
Start Date: 1st May 2026

Warm Earth is a resident‑led environmental project based in Winson Green, bringing people together to grow food, build community, and care for the local environment through practical action. We are looking for someone to lead this work who is passionate about composting, exploring alternative energy generation from organic waste, and supporting communities to grow plants and food sustainably. This role will take the lead in developing and delivering a vibrant, community‑based project—working alongside local people to turn environmental ideas into hands‑on activities that build skills, connection, and long‑term change.
