Optime Group are recruiting for Warehouse Operative Trainer / Team Leader to join a well‑respected and successful client on Bath Road.

What’s on offer:
- Rate of Pay: £13.20 per hour.
- Shifts available: 06:00‑14:00 / 07:00‑15:00 / 06:00‑18:00 (You must be flexible with the hours you work)
- Shift Pattern: Rotational – Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday (This may be subject to change)
- Weekly Pay: every Friday
- Full training provided – 3 weeks
- Temp to Perm opportunity (performance‑based)
Key Duties:
The Warehouse Operative Trainer / Team Leader plays a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality training, driving operational excellence, and leading a team within a secure HMPPS environment.
- Deliver induction training for new starters
- Conduct Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) training and refresher sessions
- Provide ongoing operational training across departments
- Coaching and supporting staff to improve performance and service quality
- Handle customer complaints
- Lead team and support daily operational activities
- Monitor compliance, performance, and training records
- Support operational tasks when required
- Complete a 3‑week training course before officially starting the role
Shifts:
The airport operates 7 days per week and candidates will be working 5 days out of 7. Rotational – Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday. Fully flexible for days and hours.
Example shift hours:
- 06:00‑14:00
- 07:00‑15:00
- 06:00‑18:00
Requirements:
- 5 years of working experience in the UK (compulsory)
- Valid UK driving licence (compulsory)
- Strong training delivery and presentation skills
- Previous leadership or team‑leading experience
- Good understanding of SSOW, compliance, and operational processes
- Excellent communication and coaching abilities
- Full computer knowledge (compulsory)
- Flexibility to work rotational shifts
- Willingness to support overtime during peak operational periods
- Successful candidates required to complete a basic criminal record check following the interview in line with CAA requirements.
