Freight Coordinator

Salary: 26,000 to 30,000 per annum. Permanent. Hours: 09:00am to 17:30pm M-F. Location: BS35 Severn Beach, Bristol. Bonus, 31 days Holiday, Pension, Health plan, Eye care, On site Parking and employee share plan.

A highly established, leading freight forwarding business is expanding its air freight team and recruiting a freight coordinator. The role emphasizes customer excellence and strong company values, including sustainability and employee focus.

Responsibilities

• Track and maintain the smooth running of freight processes.
• Accurate data entry of freight information.
• Client and vendor invoicing.
• Client contact updating on delivery and rapport building.
• General department administration.

Qualifications & Experience

• Administrative or customer services background.
• Proficient with Microsoft programs.
• Confidence in learning new packages; CRM experience beneficial, but full training will be provided.
• Previous freight industry experience beneficial but not essential.
• Aiming to attract candidates with air freight, import/export coordination, freight coordination, or freight forwarding experience.
