The school takes a holistic, therapeutic and creative approach to education, with a strong focus on helping pupils re‑engage with learning, build confidence, and develop the life skills needed to achieve their full potential. The aim is to support students either back into mainstream education or towards positive long‑term outcomes beyond school.

The leadership team has created a positive, nurturing and progressive environment for both students and staff. Clear expectations, consistency and relationship‑based practice are central to the school’s ethos, alongside a genuine commitment to staff wellbeing and professional development.

  • Assessing and recording student progress
  • Supporting students’ emotional regulation and engagement in learning
  • Producing reports and contributing to EHCP reviews where required
  • Working collaboratively with pastoral and therapeutic staff
  • Building positive and consistent relationships with students
  • Experience with positive behaviour support strategies, de‑escalation techniques, or Team Teach training would be advantageous. Full Team Teach training can be provided for the successful applicant.
