About the role
Night Senior Care Assistant at HC One – a role where kindness is at the core of everything you do. You will work in our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes during night shifts only, planning and implementing care that gives residents a sense of security, dignity and independence.
Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and review personalised care plans for residents, ensuring their safety and dignity.
- Lead and support a team of Care Assistants, maintaining the highest standards of care and influencing the team positively.
- Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager with medication administration and the provision of physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities.
- Keep accurate records of all care activities and build strong relationships with residents, families and team members.
- Communicate with residents and their families with kindness and consideration at all times.
Qualifications
- Level 2 Diploma in Adult Social Care (S/NVQ) or equivalent, with the intention to progress to Level 3 in Adult Social Care.
- Experience in person‑centred care planning and caring for people with dementia.
- Strong record‑keeping abilities and effective time‑management skills.
- Positive energy, natural ability to work well with others and the capacity to communicate kindly and considerately.
