Field Technician

Field Technician – £43,300 + overtime – Doncaster – Monday to Friday

An interesting opportunity for a Field Technician to join the Doncaster team of an established and growing company. The company will invest in your training and future development to progress you to the next level and fulfil your potential.

Responsibilities

• Visit processing sites throughout the United Kingdom.
• Maintain various systems and equipment and inform the company of any issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in the installation of sites, including abattoirs, across the UK (including occasional stop‑overs).
• Dismantle components and equipment and assemble mechanical components.
• Diagnose faults on the equipment used.

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Previous mechanical / engineering experience within a continuous process / manufacturing environment.
• Experience and knowledge of TIG welding and diaphragm pumps.
• High regard for safety, quality and compliance.

Salary and Benefits

• Basic salary: £43,300
• Overtime: Paid at 1.5×
• Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Travel: Some overnight stays required
• Vehicle: Company van provided, with business fuel paid
• Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays
