Midlands & South

Field-Based | Permanent

Osprey Engineering Solutions are hiring for a Pneumatic Sales Engineer on behalf of our client — a globally respected, US-headquartered manufacturer of precision pneumatic and process control instrumentation with a heritage spanning over 150 years.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically minded sales professional to manage and grow an established territory across the Midlands and South of England, representing a market-leading portfolio of pneumatic regulators, pressure control devices, diaphragms, and instrumentation sold into key industrial end-user and OEM markets.

Product Portfolio

  • Pneumatic pressure regulators and volume boosters.
  • Electro-pneumatic transducers and I/P converters
  • Rolling diaphragm seals and actuators
  • Precision control valves and positioners
  • Process instrumentation including pressure gauges and sensors

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop an existing customer base across the Midlands and South territory
  • Identify and win new business across target sectors including oil & gas, chemical processing, pharmaceutical, industrial automation, and HVAC
  • Provide technical consultancy and application support to customers and OEM partners
  • Work closely with internal engineering and applications teams to deliver tailored solutions
  • Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs
  • Represent our client at industry events, trade shows, and customer sites

Requirements

  • Proven experience in technical/field sales within pneumatics, fluid power, instrumentation, or process control
  • Strong understanding of pneumatic systems and their industrial applications
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working autonomously across a field territory
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) desirable but not essential — relevant industry experience counts
  • Full UK driving licence required
