About the Role
We are seeking two passionate and practical Construction Skills Teachers to join a dynamic education and training setting in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by supporting learners to develop hands‑on vocational skills and prepare for future employment in the construction industry.
You will be delivering engaging, practical lessons to learners who may benefit from a more vocational and supportive approach to education.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality teaching in construction‑related subjects (e.g., basic carpentry, brickwork, health & safety)
- Plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons tailored to learner needs
- Support students in developing employability and life skills
- Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
- Create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
- Work collaboratively with support staff and wider teams
About You
- Experience in construction (essential)
- Teaching qualification (desirable but not essential – training can be provided)
- Experience working with young people, ideally in education, PRU, or alternative provision
- Patient, resilient, and approachable
- Passionate about helping learners succeed through vocational education
