Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Speke
Start Date: September
Salary: £95 – £115 per day
Responsibilities
The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will be supporting students across Key Stage 4 / KS4, working closely with teaching staff to manage behaviour, encourage engagement and provide tailored support to students with additional emotional and behavioural needs.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A calm, patient and resilient approach
- Experience supporting students within a secondary school or alternative provision setting
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- A proactive and adaptable attitude
