Ideally, you’ll be a multi-skilled engineer, with electrical and mechanical maintenance experience , fault finding and resolution; with solid automated process control/PLC experience and servo motor control knowledge.
Electrical fault finding and installation/testing. Mechanical servicing and repairs – Welding/turning. Compressors, steam boilers, water treatment, electrical distribution. Electrical/Mechanical City & Guilds or equivalent qualification. Understanding of network control ASi systems. PLC programming experience: Your role as engineer will be to continuously monitor and report on all equipment performance, alongside maintaining and repairing plant and equipment when necessary. Fault finding, repairs and maintenance on high speed, automated manufacturing machinery. Undertaking reactive and planned maintenance on a range of specialist and high-tech machinery, predominately Krones. Ensuring all engineering procedures are adhered to including Health and Safety, quality, hygiene, and general housekeeping. Performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on major issues and communicating to the wider team.
