Maintenance Electrician – Up to £40,000 + Van + Overtime

Location: York

Salary: Up to £40,000 + Overtime + Company Van

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Commercial Maintenance Services are looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a growing engineering team covering commercial contracts across York and surrounding areas.

The Role:

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical systems
• Fault finding, repairs and remedial works
• Working on lighting, power and general building services
• Supporting compliance and statutory maintenance
• Completing job reports through Joblogic
• Providing excellent client-facing service across commercial environments
• Participating in the on‑call rota where required

Requirements:

• NVQ / City & Guilds Electrical Qualification
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Experience within commercial maintenance or facilities management
• Strong fault‑finding and reactive maintenance experience
• Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

• Test & Inspection (2391)
• IPAF / PASMA
• Experience using CAFM systems
• Basic mechanical or fabric knowledge
