The Role: SEMH Teaching Assistant
- 1:1 and small group support as an SEMH Teaching Assistant
- Supporting pupils with SEMH needs and behaviour challenges
- Using de-escalation strategies as an SEMH Teaching Assistant
- Building strong relationships with pupils with SEMH
- Supporting emotional regulation and engagement
- Working in a structured, behaviour-led environment
- Collaborating with teachers and pastoral teams
Who We’re Looking For: SEMH Teaching Assistant
- Experience as an SEMH Teaching Assistant or with SEMH needs
- Strong behaviour management and resilience
- Calm, consistent and confident SEMH Teaching Assistant
- Background in PRUs, SEN schools or mentoring is desirable
