Location: HMP Portland – DT5 1DL

Salary: £30,656.92 per annum

Contract: Permanent, full time – 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday

HMP Portland is a category B adult male and YOI prison. We are looking for a Painter and Decorator who will work alongside experienced colleagues in a maintenance team to create a safe and nurturing environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and decorating or equivalent (or significant experience/time served in a similar role)
• Experience working in a maintenance team
• An honest and reliable character, who can approach their work with a sense of purpose and pace
• Good Health & Safety knowledge
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
