House Keeper

House Keeper (SmFIT1) Middlesbrough, England

We are recruiting for House Keepers for a care home in the Middlesbrough and surrounding area. We are looking for reliable candidates who have experience working in a care home or similar settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Deep Cleaning.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report stock shortages.
• Ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards required for DBS‑compliant workplaces.
• Follow all security procedures due to the sensitive nature of DBS environments.

Requirements:

• A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
• Previous housekeeping and cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management and reliability.
