Order Processor – Windows & Doors
NE&C Windows & Doors Ltd has an exciting opportunity for an Order Processor to join their growing team. This role suits an organised administrator with strong attention to detail looking to develop within the windows, doors, UPVC and manufacturing sector.
All Levels of Experience Considered.
Previous experience within the window and door industry is preferred but not essential, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates with administration, order processing or customer service experience looking to develop within a growing organisation.
SALARY: £12.71 per Hour + Benefits
LOCATION: Washington, Tyne and Wear, North East England – Fully Office Based
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week
JOB OVERVIEW
Working as the Order Processor you will support the processing of customer orders from point of sale through to production. The role includes interpreting technical drawings, updating internal systems, coordinating with production teams and ensuring orders are accurate and completed to agreed deadlines. You will work closely with customers, surveyors, sales teams and manufacturing departments.
DUTIES
- Accurately process UPVC window and door orders using internal systems and software.
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications and survey information.
- Ensure all customer orders are accurate and compliant before release to production.
- Communicate with customers, sales teams, surveyors and production departments to resolve discrepancies.
- Handle order amendments and variations efficiently.
- Maintain accurate documentation and administrative records.
- Assist with production scheduling and delivery coordination where required.
- Ensure all tasks are completed in line with company procedures and quality standards.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in administration, order processing, customer service or office support preferred but not essential.
- Experience with UPVC window and door systems such as VEKA or similar would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills.
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office, Word and Excel and internal processing systems.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
