Class 1 Drivers, St Austell. Trunking work

Overview

Class 1 (C+E) drivers needed for night trunking and depot‑to‑depot trailer swap work. Shifts are 10–12 hours, start times between 13:00 - 20:00, with ongoing temporary and ad‑hoc opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Drive night trunking and depot‑to‑depot trailer swap routes.
• Work on double‑deck vehicles (no handball).
• Record at least 12 shifts in the last 3 months for tachograph data.
• Maintain route accuracy and vehicle safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months Class 1 (C+E) experience.
• Full UK licence with no more than 6 penalty points (no majors).
• Current CPC and tachograph cards.
• Recent tachograph data (12 shifts in 3 months).

Compensation

£18.50‑26 per hour (temporary/ongoing) and £16‑17 per hour for Class 1 collection and delivery work. £19‑31 per hour on a limited‑company basis.
