Overview
We’re looking for full‑time, permanent Class 1 Night Drivers to join us at our site in Gloucester. This role starts with driving wagons but offers future opportunities in management, sales, warehousing and more.
Pay & Benefits
Base rate of £17.71 per hour (including allowances), with overtime available after 40 hours per week at an enhanced rate. Minimum 40 hours per week on Monday‑Friday night shifts. 21 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 26 days with 4 years service. Typical Day
- Permanent position
- Multi‑drop deliveries
- Delivery of automotive spares to dealerships on a night rota with standard routes
- Safe vehicle operation following XPO standards
- Start times between 18:00 and 01:00 hrs (Mon‑Fri)
- Safe use of tail lift and pallet trucks where FLT not available
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement)
- ADR qualifications advantageous; training provided if not held
- No more than six penalty points on licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements
- Valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
- Excellent knowledge of UK road network
