Regional Sales Manager – Operating Theatre Lighting Equipment | North West England & Scotland
£50-55k + £15-20k OTE + Car Allowance
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a long-established UK medical devices manufacturer specialising in operating theatre lighting, controls and infrastructure solutions. Covering North West England and Scotland, this home-based role combines business development, project sales and account management within the NHS and private hospital sectors.
You will work closely with Theatre Managers, Clinical Directors, Procurement, NHS Estates teams, contractors and architects to identify and win new tenders for theatre refits and installations. The role offers a strong pipeline of existing projects alongside significant growth potential following a recent European acquisition and expansion plans.
This autonomous, technical sales position would suit either a driven second-jobber looking to step into a more project-led role or an experienced technical sales professional. Candidates should have at least 12 months’ external sales experience, ideally within technical, electrical or mechanical products. Strong organisation, resilience and the ability to manage long sales cycles are essential.
Package includes £50-55k basic salary, £15-20k OTE, £600 monthly car allowance, healthcare, pension, laptop, mobile and 25 days holiday plus stats. Regular travel across the territory and occasional overnight stays in Scotland are required. Full product training provided from the Leeds head office.
Desired Skills and Experience
12 months or more of external sales experience ideally in a technical environment or working on projects.
Previous experience of selling an electrical or mechanical led product or solution is advantageous but not essential
Strong admin, organisation and territory planning with patience and resilience to handle a long sales cycle
Full driving licence and happy travelling daily to see customers.
