Manpower is recruiting experienced Production Assemblers to join a secure, classified manufacturing project based in Coventry. These are temporary roles for an initial 20-week period, offering competitive pay and a 4-day working week.
Screening & Vetting Requirements
Due to the nature of this project, the following are mandatory:
- BPSS clearance
- UK Born nationals who still hold UK nationality only
Trade Tests include
- Soldering and Assembly
- Colour-blindness
- Numeracy and Literacy
The Role
You’ll be working within a structured production environment on precision electronic and mechanical assemblies. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work to defined quality and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Soldering to a high standard
- Electronic and mechanical assembly (small-build work preferred)
- Working on a production line to meet output targets
- Operating within a secure and compliance-led environment
Pay & Working Hours
- 18 per hour
- Rising to 19 per hour upon completion of performance targets
- Monday to Thursday
- 07:00 – 16:30
- 36 hours per week (9 hours per day including 30-minute unpaid break)
- Every Friday off
Essential Experience
- Proven soldering experience
- Electronic and mechanical assembly background
- Production line experience
- Use of Hand Tools
