Role Overview
The role will lead intervention and reset management to provide students with a high-quality, personalised learning experience and interventions that support their continued education. The successful candidate will work closely with the SENDCO to support families and students, ensuring their needs are fully met.
Responsibilities
- Manage support plans and interventions such as ELSA, Thrive and social skills based on student need.
- Ensure students have access to a wide range of resources related to their individual curriculum to help them continue studying subjects including English, Maths & Science.
- Implement strategies to support students with challenging behaviour.
- Meet the SEND needs of students who have ADHD or autistic tendencies with a specific focus on SEMH.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in successfully implementing strategies to support students with challenging behaviour.
- Good understanding of how to meet SEND needs of students with ADHD or autistic tendencies, focusing on SEMH.
- Experience of ELSA, Thrive/Theraplay or Boxall Profile training, or willingness to achieve training.
