Permanent, Full-Time

Mon-Fri, 40 hrs 8.00am – 4.30pm

Gloucester Site Based (1 day WFH)

We are supporting Fluid Water Group in the recruitment of an Associate Product Manager to join their growing business in Gloucester.

This opportunity offers exposure to a market-leading engineering and manufacturing environment, supporting a portfolio of engineered water solutions through well-known brands including Stuart Turner, Mikrofill, and Dutypoint.

As the Associate Product Manager, you will support the senior product team in the delivery of their strategic product roadmap objectives. You will contribute to ensuring that products meet customer needs, align with business objectives, and deliver commercial value. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the role helps drive product performance, innovation, and continuous improvement within the water solutions sector.

Job Description

  • Support the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept and development through to launch and continuous improvement
  • Assist in delivering product roadmaps aligned with wider business strategy and objectives
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform product decisions and identify opportunities
  • Maintain accurate product data, including pricing, technical documentation, and product positioning
  • Support product launches, ensuring coordination across engineering, operations, sales, and marketing teams
  • Monitor product performance against KPIs, timelines, and commercial targets, recommending improvements where needed
  • Support analysis of customer feedback and product performance data to drive improvements
  • Assist in product-related projects, including updates, enhancements, and ongoing optimisation activities
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support product development and deliveryEnsure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements

Skills & Qualifications Required

  • Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and product data structures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to interpret data and translate findings into practical actions
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial awareness, including understanding of product performance and profitability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with ERP, MRP, or product management systems (desirable)
  • Experience in water, environmental, or industrial engineering sectors (advantageous)
