About The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented lawyer to join our fast-growing company. You will review and draft agreements, advise on new product offerings, manage our vendor ecosystem, and protect the company’s interests in litigation matters. This role is ideal for a qualified lawyer with 1–2 years of experience in a fast‑paced, highly regulated FinTech environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Contract drafting: draft and negotiate vendor agreements and maintain customer‑facing T&Cs for new products and changes.
- Litigation and dispute resolution: manage a small‑claims portfolio, coordinate with external counsel and partner with Customer Operations to identify and resolve recurring legal friction.
- Product support: provide practical legal input throughout the product lifecycle, from design to go‑to‑market communications.
- Build the legal foundation: stay ahead of regulatory shifts and help create internal policies, training and processes for a growing legal function.
We’re Looking For
- Education: Qualified lawyer with a current practising certificate.
- Experience: 1–2 years PQE, preferably within a top‑tier law firm or comparable FinTech environment.
- Contract proficiency: strong foundational skills in contract law and strong attention to detail.
- Communication: ability to explain complex legal risks to non‑legal stakeholders.
- Team player: able to work cross‑functionally with Growth, Product and Operations.
- Adaptability: comfortable in a “move‑fast” environment where priorities shift.
