About the Role
Extremely varied role, you will get a chance to manage the full lifecycle of projects (Dealing with customers & suppliers), this is an excellent role to enhance your engineering career.
Responsibilities
- You will be designing a range of different systems – bespoke, custom solutions so no project is the same!
- Working on a wide variety of bespoke projects, preparing 3D & 2D drawings to customer specifications.
- Good communication skills, to work alongside colleagues as well as deal with suppliers & customers.
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering degree and a couple of years experience working in industry.
- Any qualifications ideal – BEng / HNC / HND or equivalent in an Engineering related subject.
Required Skills
- Background in Mechanical Design or Mechanical Engineering.
- Any knowledge of CAD packages – Creo / SolidWorks or similar.
- Manufacturing exposure, you may be an apprentice trained engineer, worked in a production or manufacturing role and now moved into a design focussed position.
- Eagerness to progress – the business is keen to bring someone in who they can put through a development plan, you will be given excellent training.
Preferred Skills
- Design Engineer, Project Design Engineer, CAD Design Engineer or similar.
Pay range and compensation package
Basic salary TBC (We suspect roughly £35,000 sort of region) + wider company benefits and a 12:30 finish on a Friday. Starting salary will be dependent on experience (£35,000 as a very rough estimate) + 25 days holiday + banks, working from home equipment + other wider benefits. Early finish on a Friday.
