Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home – Gloucester

Up to £50,000 per year

Full‑time, Mon–Fri

About the Role

You’re a passionate leader who believes every child deserves to feel safe, heard, and hopeful. You’ll lead a warm, forward‑thinking children’s residential home where relationships are at the heart of everything we do. You’ll oversee the day‑to‑day running of the home, lead a dedicated care team, and ensure the highest standards of care for our young residents. From developing individual care plans to owning Ofsted compliance, you’ll be a visible, inspiring presence.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and managing a team of care staff, including supervisions and appraisals
  • Ensuring full regulatory compliance and Ofsted readiness
  • Championing safeguarding across every aspect of the home
  • Developing personalised care plans tailored to each young person’s needs
  • Managing budgets, rotas, and on‑call duties
  • Creating a culture rooted in respect, inclusion, and opportunity

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a leadership role within children’s residential care
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or working towards it)
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, the Children Act, and childcare theory
  • Proven line management experience
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence
