TheServiceDeskisrecognisedforprovidingindustry-leadingsupportforawellknownFreightSoftwaresystem,amatureclient/serverapplicationinservicesince2011.Havingsuccessfullynavigatedusersthroughextensivefunctionalenhancementsandcriticallegislativeupdates,including CDS and NCTS .

Duetocurrentexpansionthiswillbeanewkeyroleandexcitingtimestojoinandsupportthegrowingproductrangeandassistinbuildingacutting-edge,web-basedfront-endfromthegroundup.

Theperson Weareseekinga TechnicalFreightSupportSpecialist withastrongbackgroundin customsdeclarationsand/orfreightforwarding tojoinourServiceDesk.Thisisauniqueopportunityforsomeonewithindustry-specificknowledgewhoislookingtotransitionintoorgrowwithinthefieldofsoftwareandapplicationsupport.Thispersonmustbeanenthusiastic,self-startingproblemsolverwiththeabilitytolearnnewtechnologiesquickly.Theidealcandidatewillbeacommunicativeteamplayerwithawelcomingandengagingdemeanour.

Requiredexperience Thecandidateshouldhavethefollowingexperience: In-depthknowledgeofUKcustomsdeclarationsand/orfreightforwarding.

ExperienceofcompletingImport&Exportentries Excellentcommunicationskills(bothverbalandwritten)withtheabilitytoworkbothindependentlyandaspartofteam.

Haveagreatpersonality;youwillbeexpectedtoworkcloselywiththeteam,continuouslylearn,andactivelyshareknowledgewithothers.

Haveaproblem-solvingmindset,goodproblemanalysisandakeeneyefordetail Abilitytocopeunderpressureandmeetdeadlines Youmustalsobeenthusiasticandbewillingtoacceptnewchallenges.
