Outstanding opportunities available to appoint four Ground Support Engineers at Stansted Airport (STN).
Responsibilities
You will conduct planned, preventative maintenance and service, as well as repairs on a variety of equipment including automotive and ground support equipment.
Full training on the service and maintenance of ground support equipment is available. You will work a daytime shift of 4 days on, 4 days off, or 4 days on, 3 days off with a choice to work 37.5 hours per week.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates are time‑served automotive technicians, mechanics, or plant engineers with a minimum of one year post‑apprenticeship experience.
Candidates must hold City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent automotive qualifications and possess knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical systems.
Ex‑Military candidates, particularly from the REME, Royal Engineers, or similar, are highly desirable.
Benefits
PPE and uniforms are supplied. Overalls will be provided and laundered; however, you must have your own tools.
