Location: Solihull

Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 (negotiable) + bonuses & incentives

Service: 4‑bed residential children’s home (Ofsted: GOOD)

Overview

We are recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to lead a well‑established 4‑bed children’s home in Solihull, rated GOOD by Ofsted. The home supports 3 young people aged 10–16 and benefits from a strong Deputy Manager and a highly supportive Responsible Individual. This is a great opportunity to join a stable, growing organisation operating 5 residential homes and 3 solo placements, offering strong leadership support, excellent incentives, and long‑term progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall operational management of the home
• Lead, develop, and support the staff team
• Ensure high‑quality, child‑centred care
• Maintain full compliance with Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards
• Lead safeguarding practice and inspections
• Build strong relationships with external professionals

Requirements

• Level 3 in Residential Childcare (essential)
• Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
• Management experience within children’s residential care
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding
