Salary: £118,895 + salary supplement of £4,936 + excellent benefits

Location: Wooburn Green, High Wycombe

Hybrid working: 2 days per week in the office, 3 days per week from home

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday–Friday)

About the Role

We’re looking for a visionary and delivery‑focused Director – Digital Platforms & Enterprise Applications to lead the strategy, evolution and performance of our enterprise systems and digital platforms. This is a key leadership role at the heart of our digital transformation journey.

You will have end‑to‑end ownership of our application estate, including housing management systems, CRM platforms, digital resident services, finance and corporate systems, asset management systems and integration platforms. You’ll ensure these platforms are reliable, secure, integrated and continuously evolving to meet the needs of our colleagues and residents.

Working closely with the CIO, senior leaders and operational teams, you’ll shape the future of our digital ecosystem, ensuring technology investments align with organisational priorities and deliver measurable business outcomes. You’ll also lead enterprise architecture, technology change governance and delivery oversight, ensuring our platforms support efficient services, improved resident experience and strong organisational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver the digital platforms strategy aligned to organisational priorities

  • Ensure enterprise systems support operational and strategic needs across the organisation

  • Develop roadmaps for modernisation, integration and optimisation of core platforms

  • Lead digital resident and colleague services to improve accessibility and experience

  • Oversee core business systems including housing, CRM, finance, asset management and integration platforms

  • Ensure systems are reliable, secure and well‑integrated

  • Establish technology change governance and ensure investment decisions align with priorities

  • Provide delivery oversight across programmes, projects and change initiatives

  • Lead enterprise architecture and promote modern, cloud‑based solutions

  • Act as a strategic partner to operational and corporate functions

  • Identify opportunities for efficiency through optimisation, integration and automation

  • Encourage innovation in digital services and enterprise platforms

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams across applications, platforms, systems support and architecture

  • Build strong internal capability and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

You’re a strategic, collaborative and forward‑thinking digital leader who can balance innovation with operational stability. You understand how enterprise platforms underpin service delivery, resident experience and organisational performance, and you know how to bring people with you on the journey.

Must haves

  • Significant leadership experience managing enterprise applications or digital platforms

  • Experience overseeing complex enterprise system landscapes

  • Proven track record leading technology‑enabled transformation programmes

  • Experience establishing architecture and governance frameworks

  • Experience working in complex or regulated environments (desirable)

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Enterprise application ecosystems
    • Digital platforms and service design
    • Systems integration and enterprise architecture
    • Technology governance and change management
    • Cloud‑based platforms and SaaS environments
  • Strategic leadership skills with the ability to align technology with organisational goals

  • Excellent communication skills, able to bridge technical and business audiences

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and collaborative leadership style

  • Ability to balance innovation, operational stability and governance
